The game Plants vs. Zombies is a tower-defense video game developed and originally published by PopCap Games for Microsoft Windows and OS X. The game focuses on a homeowner who uses different types of plants to prevent a variety of zombies from entering their house and "eating their brains". Plants vs. Zombies FREE is a game for the iPhone, iPod Touch, and the iPad that was developed by PopCap Games. It is a game that is based on tower defense, where the player is the plant, and the zombies are the attackers. The player has to strategically place plants along the way to prevent the zombies from eating their brains.

Gameplay

The gameplay consists of a series of waves. The player can use up to six different types of plants to stop the zombies from reaching their house and consuming their brains. A zombies moves by walking and/or jumping until it reaches the player's house. The player will start out with a sunflower, and will need to plant other plants like peashooters, cherry bombs, and prickly pear to stop the zombies from coming to eat their brains. As the player progresses, they will unlock other plants. The player also has a limited number of seed slots, so they need to collect more seed slots as they progress. The game is played on a game board with five lanes. The player starts on the left-hand side of the game board (the zombies start on the right side). All the player's defenses are set up on the left side of the game. The zombies start on the right hand side of the game board, and they come down the lanes. The lanes are arranged so that the zombies come closer and closer to the player's house. The player can set up defenses with different types of plants. There are six different types of plants in the game. Three of the plants are offensive plants. They are located on the left side of the game board. The other three are defensive plants. They are located on the right side of the game board.

Laser Bean

The Laser Bean is the only offensive plant that can attack zombies that are behind other zombies. It can hit up to three zombies at a time. It is the most expensive plant in the game.

Snow Pea

The Snow Pea can attack three zombies at a time. It does not do as much damage as the other two offensive plants.

Chomper

The Chomper can eat up to three zombies at a time. It is the cheapest plant in the game.

Graphics

The graphics consist of plants, zombies, and graves for zombies that have been killed. The plants and the zombies are animated and the plants shake when using them.

Replayability

The game is available for download for free and is accessible through the browser on the computer. There are many levels that the player can beat, and there is also a free-play mode that the player can choose to play. There is also an Endless mode as well as an offline mode.
