Updates to Google Apps Weather and Keep

The 9to5Google resource monitors all the changes in Google products and found that the company ported its Weather application for Android tablets without official announcements. Previously, users of such devices could find forecasts only through a Google search. Now you can watch the famous Froggy and temperature changes in real-time without looking for it manually. To access these features on your tablet, update the Google app to the latest edition. In it, you can see a mini-preview of the weather, which can be expanded to full screen.

The update will also give you the opportunity to place a weather icon on your device's home screen. This option can be activated when you open the service for the first time or in the settings. In general, the interface has not undergone any significant changes. The main difference from the smartphone version is that the application window covers the entire screen of tablets. All the same main tabs and the ability to scroll the page to view the details have been preserved here. If you have the Google app version 13.22.12.26, you can already try out the new functionality on your tablet.

The changes also affected another product of the company, the Keep notes service. The developers plan to add text formatting tools, including font size control. It is expected that such changes will make the use of this application more efficient. Some users who have updated the service to version 5.22.182.00 have already reported they have discovered some new elements. At the same time, the update is not yet in public access, and these tools are not yet active.

If you are a Weather and Keep user, please share your feedback on these updates. Do you think they will make working with these applications more convenient?
