The Rogue Prince of Persia Will be Announced on April 10, Releasing in Early Access Next Month – Rumour

According to a detailed report from Insider Gaming's Tom Henderson, Ubisoft is making significant strides with the Prince of Persia franchise. Following the success of Prince of Persia: The Lost Crown, Ubisoft is joining forces with Evil Empire, the genius behind Dead Cells, to create a new roguelite adventure dubbed The Rogue Prince of Persia. This new installment is reportedly scheduled for an early access debut on Steam sometime later this year.
Henderson has further updated his report, indicating that the game's unveiling is slated for April 10 during the Triple-i Initiative, an event dedicated to spotlighting innovative indie games. Hosted by Evil Empire, the initiative will also shine a light on work from renowned indie developers such as Mega Crit, Heart Machine, poncle, among others.
According to Henderson, following its grand reveal, The Rogue Prince of Persia won't keep fans waiting long. The game is anticipated to enter early access on Steam by May 14. Details regarding the duration of its early access phase and plans for a launch on additional platforms are yet to be disclosed.
