Sleeping Dogs will launch on the Xbox 360, PlayStation 3 and PC on Aug 14. And for high-end gaming PCs, gamers will get a slew of features and enhancements, proving that the best games are on the PC.

First off, PC users will get a high-resolution texture pack, offering fantastic detail and clarity. The amount of detail runs from large objects like sky scrapers and temples to smaller, distant objects, bringing a level of realism not seen since Crysis.

Players can enjoy more detailed shadows and better lighting effects. And for an added perk, the game is optimized for 3D and multiple screens.

On top of the graphic improvements, Steam users will see a special pre-order bonus: Eight new items in the Team Fortress 2 “Triad Pack.” But this isn’t just a hat and tattoo pack. Players will also get a new King of the Hill map inspired by Sleeping Dogs‘ streets of Hong Kong.
