The Carnotaurus

As Lukewarm Media nears the beta phase of Primal Carnage, a new character reveal trailer introduces you to the first of several characters.

Landing on PC as a digital download later this year, Primal Carnage features man-vs-dino multiplayer action with five human and five dinosaur classes. For now, though, players are introduced to the Pyromaniac and the Carnotaurus classes.

The Pyromaniac

With his Flamesaw (a combination flame thrower and chainsaw), the Pyromaniac offers a mix of mid- to close-ranged and melee attacks. If dinosaurs break through his flames, a quick melee attack allows players to rip through reptilian flesh. And if long-ranged attacks are needed, the Pyromaniac stores a few grenades to bring lethal explosive damage to the fray.

Lurking through the maps, the Carnotaurus offers speed and brute force to break through crowds. Lacking in size, the Carnotaurus uses his horns and charge ability as his major strengths. Add his powerful jaws, and the Carnotaurus seems unstoppable. Unfortunately, his flanks become his major weakness for the human mercenaries.

Players interested in checking out the multiplayer of Primal Carnage can sign up for the beta, and the game will launch later this year as a digital download for PC.
